Title: Quadrantid Meteor Shower
Location: Hawaiian Island Viewing
Date / Time: January 3rd-4th, 2008
Comments: The Quadrantid meteor shower peaks on Jan.3rd, at approx. 8:30 PM (HST). This is one of the year's strongest showers, with a rate of 120 meteors/hour. There will be little interference from the waning crescent Moon, so if we have clear skies, we should see quite a display! The radiant will not rise until after midnight, so the best viewing will be closer to the early morning hours on Jan.4th.
