Location: Above Kauai, from SSW, moving SE & then ENE

Comments: There will be a 4-minute bright pass(-2.0) of the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday, July 31st, starting at 8:16 PM. The ISS should first become visible at 10 degrees altitude above the SSW horizon. It will be moving toward the SE, reaching a max. altitude of 40 degrees (SE) at 8:19, then move toward the ENE where it will fade from view at approx. 8:20. Watch for the ISS to pass just South of Jupiter & Antares (the red supergiant star which is the "heart" of Scorpius, the Scorpion).
